In the FTTO All-optical Hospital solution, active switches are replaced by passive optical splitters, and the traditional 3-layer architecture is simplified into a 2-layer architecture. Fibers are directed routed to wards, offices, and CT rooms. One ONU is deployed in each room to carry multiple services. These advantages make a hospital network easy to deploy, expand, and maintain while saving ELV room space.
